Gifts and Bequests
Financial gifts to Emma S.Clark Memorial Library are greatly appreciated and assure the library's viability and relevance for the community, both now and in the future. The Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation chartered by the State of New York. Donations are eligible for tax deductions in most cases.

Policy Statement
Gifts of books and other resources are accepted with the understanding that they may be used or discarded at the library's discretion. New titles acquired in this manner are subject to the basic standards of selection. Replacements and duplicate copies are added to the collection if needed. The cost of processing and the availability of shelving space are also factors in determining the acceptance of gifts. The library does not provide evaluations of gifts for tax deductions or other purposes. For specific guidelines by format please consult our Materials Donation Policy
