Public Access Computers
Need to type a document or access the Internet or do some online research? The library has public access computers for our members to use.



Internet Access

Internet access workstations are located in both the adult and children's departments, and are available to Emma S. Clark Memorial Library cardholders on a walk-in basis. A one-time registration at the circulation desk is required.

The library permits limited Internet access (on a space-available basis) to non-residents who provide valid photo ID and agree to abide by the library's Internet Policy.


The Emma S. Clark Memorial Library offers our members access to some of the latest and most powerful hardware and software available. All of our adult public computers have recently been upgraded to 21 inch, high definition touch screen computers.

Operating System

Microsoft Windows 8, installed in a very user-friendly format.

Productivity Applications

Microsoft Office 2013 Professional, including the following applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher and Access

Additional Software

Adobe Reader XI, Gimp 2, Filezilla, Google Earth, Inkscape, Paint.NET, Audacity, VLC Media Player.

Kindles for Kids

Kindle Fire tablets loaded with games for all ages and picture books. Adults can check them out for their kids for up to one hour. Each family can borrow a maximum of 2 at a time.

Premium Reference Databases

The Emma S. Clark Memorial Library provides access to a host of premium reference databases.
