Steven Spielberg’s 1975 blockbuster Jaws, based on the novel by Peter Benchley, is considered one of the greatest films ever made. Its release was regarded as a watershed moment in motion picture history, becoming the first bona fide blockbuster. Join Greg Blank, filmmaker, and film historian as he explains why this film is a cinematic masterpiece. He will show behind the scenes clips and provide a breakdown of the production process, and an analysis of the film’s cinematic qualities.
