We have new computer and technology classes coming up in May and June for beginners, as well as some more advanced courses! Learn something new or get great tips. We have both in-person & online options and daytime & evening classes:

PC Clean-Up (In-Person Class)
Monday, May 6, 10:00 a.m. – 12noon OR Thursday, May 30, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Have a PC laptop? Bring it with you and learn how to clean and speed it up. If you don’t have one, don’t worry, you can use ours to learn. This class is specifically tailored for PCs and not applicable to Mac systems. Taught by Technology Education Librarian Jen Mullen.

Cricut: Card Making (In-Person Class)
Tuesday, May 7 OR Tuesday, June 4, 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
In this beginner class, learn how to use Cricut Design Space to create a greeting card for any occasion. Taught by Librarian Brieanne Kocka.

Create Your Own Website (Advanced-level, 2-Part Class, Online)
Wednesday & Thursday, May 8 & 9, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Following topics covered: How the Internet works (IP addresses, servers, domain names, etc.), a brief overview of site builders (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify), Hosting Providers (SiteGround, Bluehost, HostGator, etc.), and an in-depth view of WordPress (setting up a WordPress.org website, linking domain names, SSL, plugins, themes, eCommerce, etc.). Microsoft Excel: Advanced (Online Class)
Monday, May 13, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Smartphone Photography 101 (In-Person Class)
Thursday, May 16, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
In this hands-on course, Holly Hunt will show you how to use the basic settings on a smartphone camera, as well as tips on photography composition and lighting. Click here to register starting 4/22.


Introduction to Microsoft Excel’s Pivot Tables (Online Class)
Monday, May 20, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Learn how to sort, filter, group, count, summate & format data easily & efficiently. Must have intermediate knowledge of Excel.  Taught by Sharper Training. Click here to register starting 4/12.


Cricut: Coffee Mug (In-Person Class)
Tuesday, May 21 OR Monday, June 3, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
In this beginner class, learn how to use Cricut Design Space & use infusible ink to create a personalized mug. Taught by Arooj Chaundhry.

How to Back Up Your Computer/Salvage Data from a PC Disaster (Online)
Monday, June 24, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
What to do in case your computer crashes & you need to get the data off your hard drive & transfer it to a new computer. Discuss several tools (Windows Backup/Restore, FreeFileSync) ALL FREE!
