Planting Fields Added to Museum Pass Collection at Emma Clark Library

Setauket, NY – March 14, 2018 –

Just in time for spring, Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park has been added to Emma Clark Library’s circulating museum pass collection. Emma Clark patrons may reserve this pass for free admission to Planting Fields in Oyster Bay.

Planting Fields is the former estate of William Robertson Coe and Mai Rogers Coe on Long Island’s “Gold Coast.” It includes Coe Hall (a Tudor Revival mansion with a mostly Elizabethan style interior), 409 acres of landscape (including an arboretum, hiking trails and formal gardens), greenhouses, a sensory garden, a café, and seasonal displays.

The Planting Fields museum pass admits up to 2 adults and 4 children to the Arboretum and Coe Hall. The park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Coe Hall opens for the season in April.

Museum Passes at Emma Clark started in 2013 with 10 museums and cultural institutions and has blossomed to 24 different passes to use throughout Long Island and New York City. In 2017, Three Village families enjoyed 1,226 free museum visits through this service.
