We serve all of 3 Village
Do you or someone you know have trouble getting to the library due to a temporary or chronic physical disability?
We have volunteers who deliver library materials to Three Village residents who are unable to visit the library. A librarian and volunteer will make an initial visit together in order to present the service and discuss the options available. Using the library user’s library card, materials will be checked out , and then delivered and returned by an assigned volunteer.
To apply for the service, call the Reference Desk at 941-4080 or email us at askus@emmaclark.org.
Kids Bored??? Fun & educational – right from home!
If you’re looking for something to entertain the kids, visit National Geographic Kids for videos, pictures, books, & magazines. Fun and substantive, all you need is your library card for FREE adventures in science, nature, culture, archaeology, and space! Engage your kids and broaden their horizons with reputable, authoritative, and child-focused content that brings them the world in a way they’ve never seen it before.
Or check out Culturegrams! They have a Kids Edition with lots of fun info…maps, videos, photos, interviews, biographies, recipes, flags, graphs, tables, and more for every U.S. state & over 200 countries!
These are both wonderful resources for kids, especially on a rainy day or during the cold winter months…a great choice when a parent hears “There’s nothing to do!”

Preschool Fair – Saturday, 1/17
Overwhelmed by the thought of having to pick the best preschool for your child? The Library’s Preschool Fair is back on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon. This is a great opportunity to speak informally with many local preschools all in one room, ask questions, and help narrow down your search and choose which schools you’d like to tour. This event has no registration and is open to the public.
Representatives from preschools in Three Village and the surrounding area will be at the event.
The following schools will be attending so far (as of 1/8):
– Children’s Community Head Start
– Harbor Country Day School
– Laurel Hill School
– Play Groups School
– Saints Philip & James School
– Setauket Presbyterian Preschool
– Smithtown Nursery School
