May 5 (3 pm) – Let’s Chat: Teen Edition

Teen Logo

Who else needs to chill and talk? We’ll be doing just that in Let’s Chat: Teen Edition! We can talk about all the crazy stuff going on now – social distancing & coping methods, remote schooling tips, how to keep in touch while in quarantine. Or even just the latest trends in pop culture, what we’re reading, or what we’re binge-watching.
We’ll have Conversation Facilitators to keep things going. If you’d like, you can even submit anonymous questions or topics you want to discuss in advance when you register. Be sure to register for each meet-up separately.

You must register in advance for this Emma Clark Virtual Event:
https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJcuf-2trD0pGd28TDA3NwII1PjPLfyEjDhG
After registering with a valid Emma Clark Library barcode number, you will receive a invitation email containing information about joining the event, so be sure to check your email. (Note: this event is limited to Emma Clark patrons only–if you do not provide a valid barcode number during registration you will NOT receive an invitation).

Library Buddies
For children ages 3 yrs – 2nd Grade
We all miss the Library, but now we can bring the Librarians into your home, virtually of course. Have some one-on-one time with your favorite librarian. We’ll read some stories to your kids, they can show us what they have read at home or even read to us. They can show us their favorite toys, stuffed animals, knick knacks, pets, songs, etc… It’s similar to a Show-and-Tell session that takes place through the popular “Zoom” platform.
Email your request to talk virtually with one of the Librarians in the Children’s Department at kids@emmaclark.org. In the email request which Librarian you would like to “hang out” with (if you have a preference), along with your preferred day and time.
