Welcome to the Teens & Tweens Department!
Starting June 1, we are welcoming 6th graders into our new Teens & Tweens Department!
We have a program for tweens and teens to get acquainted with the department, learn about the library, and receive community service credit for attending! This includes exploring Teen & Tween spaces in the library, programming (community service and “just for fun”), reading challenges, volunteering, and more. We’ll also be asking the Teens & Tweens what they’d like to see us offer.
This class is designed for incoming 6th and 7th Graders, but all who are going into Grades 6 – 12 in the fall are welcome.

After completing this course, you will receive a New York State Safe Boating Certificate.
Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. (In-Person)
Check back here shortly for how to register through the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation website.
All classes are open to Adults, Teens, and Tweens (Ages 10+). Taught by New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation. In this two-part, 8-hour course, Captain Rich Cloonan will teach the basic principles of safe and responsible boating.
Students must be at least 10 years old to attend the course and must attend both class sessions to receive certification. This class is open to both residents and nonresidents. The $40 per person materials fee must be paid to the instructor at the first class (pay with cash or Venmo).
Note: All courses are open to anyone in the state, not just local residents. If this course does not fit your schedule, or if all spots are filled, Three Village patrons may register for NY State Safe Boating classes held at other locations. Click here for more information.

Help Us Recycle
Good news! We’ve reached our goal! Our community collected and recycled 1,000+ pounds. The Library will receive a free bench made from these materials. Although we’ve reached our goal, we’re continuing to collect and recycle!
