Reserve a Pass for Free Admission!

New to our "Museum Pass" Collection! Harbes Family Farm with cartoon farm in background

Our “Museum Pass” collection is more than just museums! Just in time for Harbes Family Farm’s 2022 season reopening, we’ve added the Barnyard Adventure in Mattituck to the list of many experiences that patrons may receive at no cost, thanks to their library cards and this free pass.

Three Village residents may borrow a pass for free admission for up to 4 guests to Harbes Barnyard Adventure at 715 Sound Avenue in Mattituck (Harbes Family Farm lists regular spring admission prices on their website at $22.95 per person on weekends). This pass is a “Print on Demand”, which means there is no need to pick up or return a physical pass to the Library. Users may print the pass from any computer, even from home. To reserve a pass, Library cardholders may visit emmaclark.org/museum-passes.

The Museum Pass program at Emma Clark Library features over 30 museums, gardens, historic sites, family-friendly attractions, and cultural institutions on Long Island and in New York City.

Those who borrow passes through Emma Clark’s Museum Pass program are encouraged to share their adventures on social media with the hashtag #EmmaTakesMePlaces. Emma Clark Library may be found on Facebook @emmaclarklibrary, Instagram @emmaclarklibrary, or Twitter @ESCML.

Harbes Barnyard Adventure is the paid admission area of Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck. We have 8 acres (the same as 6 football fields put together!) for visitors to explore. At this family-friendly attraction, you’ll discover hands-on learning experiences including interactions with farm animals, a chick observatory and bee observatories. There are also fun and games for all ages such as our Gnome Hedge Maze, Jumbo Jumpers Bounce Pillows, trike track, sports zone, playgrounds, and so much more. On weekends, holidays, and summer Fridays we offer pig races and musical hayride tours. For more information on the Harbes Barnyard Adventure, visit harbesfamilyfarm.com/harbes-barnyard-adventure/.

Through group interactions, role plays, and discussions, students learn causes and consequences of dating abuse and skills to develop healthy relationships through effective communication.  Some “homework” may be assigned.

Wednesdays, March 6, 13, 20, & 27, 2024 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Click here to register.

5 Hours of Community Service will be award upon the completion of all 4 sessions of the program.  Teens must attend ALL FOUR CLASSES to earn the 5 hours of credit.

Historic Site Connected to Culper Spies – Visit for Free!

New Museum Added! Raynham Hall Museum

We recently added Raynham Hall Museum, located in Oyster Bay, to our very popular Museum Pass Collection. This museum complements the collection well and would be of particular interest to Three Village residents for its connection to the Culper Spy Ring, the group of George Washington’s spies during the American Revolution, which has strong roots in Setauket.

Raynham Hall Museum is the home of Robert Townsend (alias Samuel Culper, Jr.), one of the Culper Spy Ring agents. This engaging museum of history and espionage is open for docent-guided tours on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. It is open for self-guided tours, featuring an exciting, augmented reality experience on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting every hour from 1pm to 4pm.

Patrons who borrow a Museum Pass may receive free admission for two adults and two children (up to 17 years) for either a guided tour or self-guided tour in the education center. It also includes a 10% discount at the museum shop. This pass is a “Print on Demand”, which means there is no need to pick up or return a physical pass to the Library. Users may print the pass from any computer, even from home. To reserve a pass, Library cardholders may visit emmaclark.org/museum-passes.

The Museum Pass program at Emma Clark Library now features 34 museums, gardens, historic sites, and cultural institutions on Long Island and in New York City. The program encourages learning through experience and makes museum visits affordable for all. In 2021, there were 961 free museum visits for library patrons.
