Some course examples in software, creative, and business skills include leadership, project management, Cloud computing, Python, data science, 3D & animation, CAD, photography, videography, job hunting, digital marketing, sales, Microsoft Excel, and much more. And courses are offered in 7 different languages – English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, and Portuguese!

📌Universal Class is an online learning platform with in-depth courses on a wide variety of subjects. The classes may be taken at the user’s pace, and there is also the benefit of interacting with a live instructor via email. There are over 500 courses on a multitude of topics such as accounting, career training, health & medicine, DIY, medical billing, pet care, psychology, real estate, special education, and test preparation, just to name a few.

📌Learning Express from EBSCO focuses on academic and career development as well as lifelong learning through tutorials, test-preparation, and skill-building resources. Includes great tutorials on software and a Career Center.

📌Career Cruising is an interactive career reference guide. Includes college information, occupational profiles, resume help, and financial aid information.

📌Civil Service Test Prep eBooks may be borrowed from our collection. These test prep materials are in an easy, downloadable format for civil service exams such as Notary Public, Court Officer, Accountant, Police Officer, Housing Inspector, Correction Officer, and Bus Driver, just to name a few. Please join us for a valuable panel discussion presented by The Suffolk Center on the Holocaust, Diversity and Human Understanding. This program will bring together diverse men and women who represent minority groups from Muslim, immigrant, LGBTQ, and Jewish communities. A panel discussion will help us to understand the experiences of those often labeled “other.”
