Front Door Pick-Up
You have the option of coming in to the Library to pick up your items at the Circulation Desk like you always did in the past — OR — you can continue to use our Front Door Pick-Up service to reserve a time slot to come in a pick up your items in the Library vestibule. See below for those instructions.
Place a hold like you normally would through our catalog.
When you receive notification that your hold is ready, you will have 7 days to schedule a pick-up date and time.
How long until my items are ready for pickup? Holds placed online still take a little time to process automatically, but if the item(s) you want are currently on our shelves, we will be glad to retrieve available items for you so that you can pick them up within a day. Simply call or email the reference desk and ask that your available items be retrieved for you. (Items that are returned by patrons are quarantined for 72 hours before being processed).
Connect to our online pick-up reservation system
and follow the on-screen prompts.
- Enter your Library barcode number
- Enter your password
- CLICK “Next“
- The screen shows what you have ready for pick-up
- CLICK “Schedule Pickup“
- Select Day and Available Time
- CLICK “Next” (please note the next 3 questions are automatically filled out)
- Add additional information in the “Notes Box” and provide us with your email address
- CLICK “FINISH“
