Safe Dating Series
This 4-session evidence-based workshop, taught by the Crime Victims Center, Inc. (Parents for Megan’s Law), educates participants (in Grades 7 – 12) to recognize the difference between caring, supportive relationships and controlling, manipulative, abusive relationships. Through group interactions, role plays, and discussions, students learn causes and consequences of dating abuse and skills to develop healthy relationships through effective communication. Some “homework” may be assigned.
Wednesdays, March 6, 13, 20, & 27, 2024 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Click here to register.
5 Hours of Community Service will be award upon the completion of all 4 sessions of the program. Teens must attend ALL FOUR CLASSES to earn the 5 hours of credit.
